LOOKING FOR PEACE
ISAIAH 26:3 (Thou wilt keep Him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee).
Defining peace will to a large extent help us to clearly understand what it is and possibly how to get it. Oxford dictionary defines peace as’ ‘
Peace as I define it is an assured state of mind that lacks anxiety and is worry free.
Integrity: if we say the worlds peace is like 1john2:15-17, meaning that it will always not last but pass away; then it will be good to note that Gods perfect peace is like himself; Of great value, integrity, worth and value. Call it whatever sound sure and firm, it’s tied to Rev1:17-18 God declares”:17 and when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: Rev 1:18 I am he that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death”
So whatever comes from such a personality will definitely possess a lasting perfect quality.
James 1:17: every good and perfect gift comes from and cometh down from the father of light with whom there’s no shadow of turning. This will help us understand the distinction between the man given peace and the perfect nature of the God given peace. Whatever God gives is perfect, so when the bible talks about the lord giving perfect peace, we know that He (GOD) is simply living up to the qualities of his nature.
Recall “be yea holy (perfect) for the lord your God is holy. (Perfect)
The word perfect is a desired state that mankind in all his endeavor aspires to get to since creation, it would surprise you to know that while man struggles to be perfect, God on the other hand is perfect, HE does not need to aspire like we do, perfect is to God what sinful nature is to man. Man does not rehearse the practice of sin; it flows naturally, cos there’s an in dwelling, an abundance of sin living in man.
Similarly, God is an embodiment of perfection; it flows from abundance with him. Another possible way to understand what we’ve said thus far is by looking at how hard it is to live a righteous life without God, its impossible. The lord gives perfect peace therefore should not be hard to understand since the idea if wickedness is not hard t emanate form the heart of a natural man.
Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keeps him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. When you divide the above scripture as I did below, you’ll find out that it contains much more.
First: thou wilt keep him in perfect peace
Secondly: whose mind is stayed on you?
Finally: because he trusteth in thee.
What we can clearly see from the first division is that peace differs, so to make understanding much easier, I did this:
-you can have peace
-you can have perfect peace.
The outstanding word is perfect, which I intend to discuss in subsequent paragraphs.
The first kind of peace can come from anywhere, Recall” John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. “it therefore means that the world gives peace and God gives peace(perfect).it equally means that the quality of peace is a function of the integrity of who gives it.
The second kind of peace which is perfect cannot be found elsewhere but with the LORD.
It therefore means that we would have to look into the many types of the first kind of peace and find out what makes it ordinary or different that God had to distinguish his peace by attributing the word perfect to it.
In economics, the law of diminishing marginal utility proves that the more of a commodity you consume, the little or no satisfaction you’ll derive at a given point in the consumption curve. You see, when you consume the first bottle of soft drink, you feel good, and the level of satisfaction diminishes in further consumption the same commodity. This law holds that satisfaction is lost during subsequent consumption of a commodity.
Similarly, when you patronize the world for peace, at first instance you’ll feel good ,just like the example above, but when you expect the satisfaction to last, when you need it most, then you reach out only to find out that your so called peace is no where to be found. That’s how the world goes for these that live by it rules. Just when you think you have arrived, something will always come up. You’ll be in constant touch with calamity, want fear, depression etc. You’ll never get the peace you initially set out to acquire.
Imagine you had a stick of cigar, then a pack; you just get entangled with smoking that you never really understand when it will be enough. Rather, amidst your long smoking search, you discover you have cancer. Where is the peace? Friend I can assure you that nothing of the world satisfies,not even the SEX THING? You see a lady/man, your eyes run around him/her, the next one you stare again, as many as pass bye, the natural man keeps looking. How come our eyes never stop looking, even when you are with one or when it is the same person you’ve seen before. Or is it that the first sight did not give enough peace?
What about sex, you sleep with one person, yet another and you desire more. Moving from one bed to another but never discovering the long sought peace. Just when you think you’ve got it, a deeper sense of emptiness, anxiety and lack creeps up within you. New problems always arise from indulging to be at peace.
From experience, I found out that whenever I fall into the same sin again and again, I keep wondering why I always give in, and I found out that somewhere between my desires, I felt that if I do this, I’ll be at peace, only to find out that the guilt that comes as a result of my actions far exceeds the momentary gain I sought to enjoy,give the act any name you like,there's no sin that rewards in the long run.
Recall 1Jhn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1John 2:16 for all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1John 2:17 and the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abides for ever.
Verse16 clearly outlines; “everything that’s in the world” As such the peace that comes from it will certainly pass away.
WORD PERFECT
Thus far, we have been able to look into the definition of peace and the various ways people tend to acquire peace and how the peace never last.
Now, I’ll like us to go further by looking at the outstanding word that distinguishes Gods peace from the world’s peace. That word is PREFECT.
In Gen 6:9 these are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
The word perfect in the scripture above is in past tense, meaning that his relationship with God earned him the perfection. Whatever it was that God saw in Noah that he counted him perfect must have exceeded his bad drinking habits which showed another face of Noah’s life. But not to worry, he walked with God.
Similarly in the 17th chapter, Abraham was told to walk before God and be perfect.
In the life of Abraham, if anything was outstanding for which God loved hi m, it was for his faith, the idea if believing God, he believed God beyond the various physical oppositions that he saw. This was the same faith that I believe that God saw in Noah and called him perfect. You can now see that God regards a life of faith as a perfect life. If you are a person that works in the understanding of faith, then God sees you as perfectly might ask what about the many things that don’t seem right in y life? Well Noah had issues, Abraham equally had challenges. If you recall the bible says in Heb 11:6 but without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
In another scripture, we see perfection mentioned and this will blow your mind, the devil was perfect...... (Can you imagine?)
Ezek 28:15 Thou was perfect in thy ways from the day that thou was created, till iniquity was found in thee.
You see the God sees the ways of men as a product of what is within the person. At such, the devils ways aligned with God, so he was perfect until iniquity was found in him. If your ways are upright, then your faith must align with God, because it’s not possible to conduct you ways uprightly without proper guidance from God. The devils life once revolves around God until iniquity was found him. His heart was lifted up. The idea of a lifted heart meant that pride creep into him so he fell.
I’m trying hard to show you what God regards as perfect so that can subsequently understand how that is related to perfect peace the isaiah26:3 says God gives .

BLIND TRUST
You’ve been thinking all day, if only worrying/thinking can solve problems, you’ll be a star already.
But as you can see worry never changes anything.
It’s a friend to anxiety; they never proffer solution to your problems.
Anxiety is about things that are yet to happen.
Worry is for things you cannot change.
What you need is Faith, although it sounds stupid.
Faith believes when there is not enough evidence to affirm your expectations.
On your job/business, relationship/marriage, family/health and every expectations FAITH MAKES A DEFERENCE. God never fails.

LIKE CHRIST
I once saw a movie titled “like Mike”. The idea was about a boy who loved to play basketball, he found a pair of sneakers with the initials “MJ”inscribed within and in no time he put his faith in the sneakers and you can imagine what happened from there, he not only became like Mike, he played in the company of pros.
In the movie, the boy put his faith in the sneakers, making the object of his faith “MJ” and the product of his faith became being like mike .Similarly, when we walk with God, there is a need to make JESUS the object of our faith. Only then can righteousness become the product of our faith.
Alot of time, we use activities to depict good fellowship with God, but I’ve come to understand that it is possible to do the masters work and still not know him. It will be good to have a struggle free christian life, I call it struggle reduced because it’s almost impossible to be a growing Christian and not have one thing or the other you are working on putting away.
Remember the bible says “he that claims to be without sin is a liar and does not have the spirit of God”. So a struggle reduced life will be eminent in a life propelled by faith in God and not in the things we possess.
Finally, take out some time regularly and remind yourself that except the Lord build a house, he that works, build in vain. (Emphasis on except the Lord builds). Let knowing God be the center of your relationship with him and righteousness becomes a lifestyle and not a seasonal clique.

TEMPTATIONS
Can you remember the last time you were tempted and fell?
Try remembering the last time you equally were tempted and did not fall.
Have you noticed the two striking words?-STAND AND FALL.
It’s the same person, possibly same issues with different results.
There are two interests at war within you, Good and Bad or God and the Devil.
There’s a tussle for the ownership and lordship of your soul, of which the devil will do anything to possess it. Main while God has done all there is to possess your soul.
Imagine the concept of buying and selling, you have offers ranging from bread, the world, its glory within and all glossy protection proposals coming from the devil were as God offers everything the devil will not and cannot offer: Son ship, relationship and fellowship amidst eternity all at the cost of believing that Jesus is Gods son and is come in the flesh, died and rose the third day. Now living forever. All expense paid in full at his cost.
This offers are placed before you, choice is necessary and you are responsible for your choice.
What do you do?
I define choice as an interest highlighted above other options by an individual. When people make choices, they consider the commitment that comes with it. We all know that human nature prefers anything cheap above difficult. This gets us into another phase, how do you define cheap and diccicult?
Is it cheap because it looks good and appealing to your sight or is it because it seems to meet your immediate emotional and sensational needs? If so then Eve should have received a pat on the back for eating the apple against all instructions.
Or is it difficult/expensive because you can’t understand why you should undergo such a rigorous process when there are seemingly cheaper options. Well if so then the children of Israel need not run round the wilderness for frothy years just to get into cannan.Or a better example could be that you could refuse to wash your dirty hands before eating.
The idea of cost in the things of the Spirit can be very slippery, most times, Gods gift and ways never look as good as we expect. God says that my ways are not your ways neither are my thought your thoughts. But as far as the heavens are from the earth, so are Gods ideas about life different from ours and I bet you that the same applies to the devil. The many gifts and interest he seems to have in you is an attempt to entice you to destruction. Be careful.
As a child of God the only way to stand against the devil in the days of temptation is to dwell in the secrete place of prayer, that’s the presence of God.
If you study the scriptures properly, you’ll see that before the arrest of JESUS he insisted on several occasions that his disciples pray to avoid falling into temptations but as usual, they slept. Similarly most of us are sleeping away our life and falling to every form of temptations.
Most time, we tend to brag to be able to do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Peter had barely finish declaring how he will die with Jesus when a little girl that could possibly do him no harm asked to know if he was one of the disciples of Jesus and he vehemently denied. You and I deny Him every day because we refuse to heed the master’s advice.
A Christian that will have dominion must be prayerful at all times. The bible says draw near to God and he will draw near to you. As you pray regularly, your thinking and your mind is transformed and with that comes a newness of purpose and choice pattern thereby making it possible to overcome temptations.

God made the human mind fertile enough, such that whatever is grown on it must grow/prosper.
Notice that the commanding word is GROWN. The removal of that word nullifies the validity of that statement. All that is consistently/persistently committed to development within the framework of the human mind must certainly come to pass.
The possibility of the growth of whatever is planted on the human mind is not a function of its Godly or ungodly nature. It is a product of the commitment invested into the idea. At such anything a man puts his mind to do; it will surely come to pass. That’s why people like Hitler, Alexander, Gandhi,Mandela and a host of many other leaders had little struggle with their generation ,because they were completely sold out to an idea for which it became easy to carry along the many shallow minded populace.
For past and present leaders who encountered opposition contrary to the position above, it would be nice to note that such opposition arose simply due to the development of a different idea from theirs, and the person equally posseses an understanding of the possibilities available to him/her by investing time to nurse the ideas on their minds. So when such happens, you’ll have two ideologies struggling to be established. You have one regarded to as a rebellion while the other is called policies/government or dispensation.
Rebellion is a place of possible maturity of an idea conceived over time.
Therefore it is okay to speculate that every ideologist is a rebel of another dispensation.
The human mind is a sowing ground for the things we see and reap physically. (E.g. your actions/character reflects what you have invested time to develop). So much that when the bible says the human mind is desperately wicked, it simply means that in the face of the fertile nature of the human mind, the desire/propensity to invest/indulge of the human being is tended towards evil. Man would rather invest the negative on his mind than investing the positively productive ideas.
That’s were we got things like atomic bomb ,nuclear ,biological and all other destructive ideas from, of course we have justified our position by redefining the creation of our wicked ideas. One of such justified position is the idea that the above mentioned creations exist for defensive/protection purposes, forgetting that man contends with no one else for the occupation of the earth. Man has become his own enemy.
Bringing it down to everyday issues like abortion, corruption,thrift, killings etc, we often make arguments to justify our position but that never changes the truth that the human mind is greatly propelled towards the involvement or accomplishment of evil. Redefining the moral position of our evil creation cannot change the eternal position of God about the issues we perpetrate in our minds.
Always trying to justify his position, man has lost bearing on vital issues about himself. The church is not exempted as we now see all once mentioned social vices finding their way into the church. Justification of position that was once attributed to the world has now become part and parcel of the people of God. We now define lies as wisdom, unbelief as human nature.
Sin has been redefined as fashion, style, fastness etc. Would our redefinition of the penalty of sin which is death equally destroy the certainty of the integrity and authority that follows the personality of the God head who has meted out the various judgments against those who indulge in such practices.
As remedy, God has enjoined us to be transformed by the renewal of our mind. So if the mind is where all battles are fought, then it means that wining of such battles must be centered on its constant renewal.
Finally, I pray that we would begin to retrace our steps by seeking the renewal of our minds by consistently dwelling on the secrete place of the most high which I believe is a place of worship and study of the word of God. BE TRANSFORMED.

SMALL THINGS
Have you ever listened to a sermon about serving God and rather than feel good, you felt like you are finished cos base on what you heard you’ll never meet up with Gods standards? Or maybe yours is like the guy that can never understand why righteousness cannot be fully enthroned in his life.
Well I’ve got news for you, you aren’t alone. There was a point in my life when I could hardly talk to God without first asking for forgiveness of sins. I lived in fear of Jesus coming and not taking me to heaven. So I confessed my sins every minuets of the day.
For me back then, the most delicate part of my christian walk was the idea of going to heaven. I did not intend to miss it for anything. Not as though I’m now willing to miss it now but the perspective I now see heaven from makes it a lot easier for me to live on earth and at the same time serve God then await his coming calmly.
I never knew that walking with God was not going to be mechanical; I just felt I needed to walk with God so I just started walking. If you are in a similar situation then you need to consider what I’ll be sharing with you.
You cannot walk with God through power of your mind. The bible makes us to understand that we are saved by grace through faith. If the grace of God is not what you are depending on to follow him then you must be joking.
.. .. . . Righteousness is not the same thing as good works, good works are only worthy of commendation before God if and only if you have a nature same as his. If you understand that your righteousness is by grace through faith, then you can as well believe that without the grace of God it is impossible to walk in righteous.
Some would say there are people that understand grace yet never seem to make progress spiritually. Well it’s for such I have decided to write this article. When I was having a problem with my faith, God told me on one occasion after I prayed for a solution to my unstable life that “SMALL THINGS COUNT” And that report changed my life, my approach towards life was transformed by those three words. If you must walk with God, then you must understand that small things count.
You can’t walk before crawling, that’s why it’s called growing. You take it gradually. Have you ever notice how a house is built, its gradual but be rest assured that it will be built. Take out time and pray for growth but be patient enough to see how you grow. This is also applicable to those in business; we always want everything at the click of the button. If you must grow outwardly, then you must first of all grow in the virtue of patience.
Do kids learn quadratic equation on their first day in school?-impossible.

Well I’ve got news for you, you aren’t alone. There was a point in my life when I could hardly talk to God without first asking for forgiveness of sins. I lived in fear of Jesus coming and not taking me to heaven. So I confessed my sins every minuets of the day.
For me back then, the most delicate part of my christian walk was the idea of going to heaven. I did not intend to miss it for anything. Not as though I’m now willing to miss it now but the perspective I now see heaven from makes it a lot easier for me to live on earth and at the same time serve God then await his coming calmly.
I never knew that walking with God was not going to be mechanical; I just felt I needed to walk with God so I just started walking. If you are in a similar situation then you need to consider what I’ll be sharing with you.
You cannot walk with God through power of your mind. The bible makes us to understand that we are saved by grace through faith. If the grace of God is not what you are depending on to follow him then you must be joking.
.. .. . . Righteousness is not the same thing as good works, good works are only worthy of commendation before God if and only if you have a nature same as his. If you understand that your righteousness is by grace through faith, then you can as well believe that without the grace of God it is impossible to walk in righteous.
Some would say there are people that understand grace yet never seem to make progress spiritually. Well it’s for such I have decided to write this article. WISDOM TALK
When wisdom talk, people listen but when there is vain babbling people murmur and grumble. There is contention when you blab.
Wisdom is an authority with which vain talk and opinion are subject to. Opinion gives way to wisdom. Now wisdom is a personality that emanates from the knowledge of God.
Just as goodness and mercy are persons (personalities) which David prayed and declared shall follow him all the days of his life, wisdom is a personality without whom nothing exist. Wisdom envelops the power of the word of God.
The application of the word of God is not possible without wisdom. A city is ruled by wisdom, the tongue is tamed by wisdom. Wisdom is profitable to direct, without wisdom, leadership becomes oppressively inclined. Where there is no wisdom, people struggle to lead and be led.
Now the wisdom of God is at enmity with the world. The bible says when men say there’s a cast down; you’ll say there’s a lifting up. God works contrary to mans ways, God has in his wisdom concealed the success of life to the seemingly foolish things. The way up is down:-this means humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and he will lift you up.
Growing: Before God a growth comes after you die, this might sound funny and stupid but believe it, this is one of the awesome wisdom of God. Remember the passage of scripture that says “except a seed falls into the ground and DIES, it abides (grow) not”
It is an eternal irony that Gods way of increasing his children is tied to their willingness to die to self.
Look at human anatomy closely and discover the wisdom of God displayed in the human dentition, I asked a little boy (4yrs) what’s wrong with your teeth, how come they are falling off? His reply was dazzling, he said uncle its good, let it break and grow.
Now, God hit me hard with that revelation of BREAK & GROW. To grow, God will break us so that we can grow to stronger and higher heights.
Friends, whatever you are going through right now will make sense the moment you understand the wisdom of break and grow.
Finally, James 1:2 says, count it all joy when you are tempted (v3 says) knowing that the trial of your faith workout patience; this means that patience is developed in trials.can you imagine that? The salvation God offers us is tied to the death of his son (Jesus) on the cross. God will not achieve anything the way the human mind will expect.1corth:1:18 says the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing but to us being saved, it’s the power of God unto salvation .in fact a clear indication that God is present in your situation is trial, opposition and such that seek to keep you down or discourage you from moving forward .there’s no victory without a fight, no faith where there are no challenges.
Psalm 23 declares that though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death......I strongly believe that it is God desire that his children should walk through all their valleys. It’s only within such situations that the awesomeness and might of God will be known. the bible says be still and know that he is God, I believe that Christians that run away from trials and afflictions never have opportunity to be still and see the awesome hand of God in their affairs. You gain is in that pain.
Let me remind you of the wilderness experience when water came out of the rock, it is easy to forget the various things that make that text significant. From that passage, you’ll notice that for water to come out of a rock, there must be a wilderness were you have rocks and the value of water will be easily understood.With the sun burning so high, one will not find it hard to appreciate the value of water.
God will set a perfect stage to make every gift that comes from him to you count. (Note that the darker the night the brighter) the light. Your God will come through for you if only you hang in there; stop grumbling for in quietness is your strength. Although the bible completes that verse with “you will not”, I’ll love to believe you’ll be an exception haven read this piece. The bible equally says the promises of God are sure, although it tarries, it shall surely come.
Now this is my prayer for you going through tough time ,may God bless and keep you, may the lord cause his face to shine upon you; and may strength and faith be multiplied unto you as you wait for Gods intervention in your life .Remember what the good bishop said, you’ll win if you don’t quit. 7TH KOMMANDMENT
7th kommandment
History makes it clear that various cultures and traditions existed before our time, they obviously regarded the number 7 (seven) a lot.In Africa for instance, they had festivals considered sacred almost every seven years or sacrifices had the number seven running through them, one might have to cross seven rivers to get to the land of the dead and so on.
Seven was a number for completeness,the passion for seven exceeded the African tradition as the bible is also littered with various instances where the number seven was passionately patronized. For instance creation was within seven days, slaves were free in their seventh year, Israel went round Jericho seven times, Naaman deep himself into Jordan seven times and there were seven lamp stands in the temple built by Solomon.
Well this is why I have decided to tag this article the seventh commandment. It’s an issue I believe has been very crucial to virtually every generation in the last couple of centuries. Every generation has had to deal with it and with it being said that this generation might be the last, I believe we need to be complete in all ramification and where else would we look to but to the commandments of which this issue has the seventh place amongst them. All the commandments are very important I must say but I have decided to pick just the seventh for several reasons of which I believe is the fact that our time needs some restrains on this issue.
Before now we were told that we are living in the jet age, but I want to believe that things have changed a little and it would be more appropriate to call this age the computer age. the jet age and the computer age have something in common (speed) you may say, but I think credit should be given to the computer as the jet can be said to be slower than the computer in terms of speed. Speed has become a driving force behind almost every thing in this generation, from business to pleasure, speed drives us crazy.We live on the fast lane nowadays, so much that we resort to doing whatever gives pleasure to our minds. Unfortunately our passion for speed has not paid off well in other areas like it did in the use of computers for production and manufacturing.
The seventh commandment as outdated as it is never stop amazing me when I consider the way it cuts across every generation and how despite its seemingly uncivilized nature it determines a lot of who you become.The seventh commandment says: ‘thou shall not commit adultery”.I’m sure you now understand why I said it sounds uncivilized. Especially in an age where we have developed new words for adultery, to some this commandment is not applicable to then as it is believed that adultery is hardly committed this days. Well sorry for the unpopular word used (thou &adultery) but if I were to rephrase the commandment to sooth your computer mind, it would read:do not fornicate or do not have sex when you are not married, do not have flings or better still do not f...;some call it "fun" now so I'll just say do not have "fun".(pardon my use of language)we have various words for adultery nowadays, I’ ll like to mention some of them, we have words like fornication which sounds churchy ,then we have fling ,fuck, kpanch ,zung ,need and so on.. There are as many words as we have group of friends.
Dear friend, the seventh commandment might not sooth your computer age set, it might sound too harsh or outdated but I can assure you that it has helped people live to achieve great success.(especially those that complied.The commandments were not meant to appeal to you judgment ,neither were you suppose to be considered before declaring it.Now I know you might not really give a hoot about what I said thus far but wait until you see the implications of not keeping the seventh commandment.
Implication 1: This implication offers you a choice as to whether or not you’ll keep this thou shall not commit adultery injunction. If you keep this command, you’ll have saved yourself the trouble of having to battle with the many sexually transmitted deceases of our time. When you consider these deceases, you’ll keep your pants on anyway. If you are the critical type, you’ll be arguing your way out by preaching the condom message by now. Well whatever you do just try and understand that there are other consequences beyond deceases and unwanted pregnancies.
Consider the value called dignity; do you keep that by using condoms during sex? (NO) There are a lot more things that indulging in elicit sex steal way from you that the eye cannot see. Your joy, confidence, worth, pride and lots of things that you always notice gets out of place after unlawful sex. May be you should consider the fact that you are worth much more, most times the most affected persons in our society are the ladies, they get a little less than enough to start with compared to the chunk of things you give in return. From a drink to a ride in his car, some gifts (cheap compared to the value you are worth) in this days of phones, he could send you recharge cards. At the end of the day whatever you get cannot be compared to who God has made you. Most times the guy don’t make it clear that the return on his investment would be in form of a sexual reward but when the time comes, you ‘ll definitely not have anything of value to give him for so much he has put into you. So you give him your body. What a profit on so little investment.
Less I forget there are people out there that do nice things for people without making sexual demands in return but I can assure you that they are hard to come by. Similarly, I want to believe that you are not a dog, how would you feel if you knew early enough that the guy or girl thinks you are as cheap as a dog that will give into a bone in form of gifts. I m sure you’ll never have anything to do with him or her. Well it will suffice you to know that many persons after your pants think like that. You only never have an insight into their minds to know that. Take my advice don’t commit adultery. I know how hard it could be to make some folks see the wisdom in this commandment, because most times you are too emotionally engrossed to think about the consequences of your actions. Not withstanding, I believe that amidst the entire emotional clamor, you’ll always have an opportunity to back out, put on your pants and flee. You are not been a jerk, you’re just been a smart girl/guy that knows that life is worth more than some seconds of pleasure and years of grief and pain: First for you, then for those that love you.
Implication 2: In the first implication, I said keeping the seventh commandment is a matter of choice and the benefit and disadvantages were what you could analyze with you human thinking faculty. Unfortunately, the second implication offers you little benefits as the basis for adhering to the command. As a matter of fact you are expected to keep it whether you like it or not. Considering the fact that the commandment came from an uncommon personality, it will be impossible to bye pass him with a computer minded argument
To make things a lot easier for your understanding, I’ll simply describe the personality in the words of those that have encountered him. Read that he of whom we speak was last seen in a garment down to the feet and a girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire. His feet like fine brass, as if the burn in a furnace and his voice as the sound of many waters. His countenance is as the sun in its full strength.Some other persons saw him on a white horse and I can assure you that of all that saw him none was standing in his presence.You’ll not be an exception.
This personality is God almighty and he respects no one.Even if he were to respect someone, I doubt if you’ll be such a person for him to respect. I’m sure you can now see why his command needs not comply with your civilized mind. He has and will always outlive every civilization so if he says don’t indulge in sin, that’s final. God is omnipotent and omnipresent, he’s alpha and omega, the beginning and the end and if he says it then he must mean it.God said you should not commit adultery then it must be for your own good. Whatever God says, must be good since he sees all things from an omnipotent and omnipresent perspective and if you think your speed driven mind can comprehend his infinite wisdom then you must be way out of your mind and wrong.
Personally, I believe there are reasons for every move God makes; there are reasons for the commandments as well as reasons for you coming across this article. God has a very good plan for you and I, and I believe what we must do is to drop our preconceived notions about his commandments and begin to comply with his ways. There are some of you out there that know the seventh commandment means no harm and would really like to comply but it just happen that you can’t seem to muscle enough courage to do the things God has commanded. Well I’ve got news for you. You aren’t alone. The issue of struggling to walk with God has become a limiting factor to so many people as often there is a spiritual willingness but the flesh is weak.
As a matter of fact the problem you encounter with the seventh commandant is equally eminent with all other commandments. This has led most people into thinking that his standards are too high, but I’ll like to correct this impression by saying that he is God (holy and pure) and his standards are just okay for his personality.we just happen to have very poor and low standards as a result of our sinful nature. Now I’m sure you are beginning to see why it’s almost impossible to live up to his expectations or his commandment perfectly.So what do you do? You go back to God and find out how you can walk with him and I assure you that he already has a laid down plan for you.
Main while, God knowing that you and I would be interested in aligning our ways with his, sent Jesus to die on the cross of Calvary. On that death he tied sufficient grace to enable you live right and enjoy other things along side. Now all you have to do to become a party to the grace and other benefits is to simply believe that the death was for you and accept the lordship of Jesus over your life. The moment you have done this, you’ll better understand what Jesus meant when he sad that the Ten Commandments are up held in just two.You shall love the lord your God with all your heart, with all thy might and with all your strength.(this is the greatest commandment)The second is like it; love your neighbor as yourself.
You’ll now see that one of the immediate benefits of giving your life to Jesus is that the once impossible becomes possible in that you can now unconsciously keep the Ten Commandments as you focus your mind on loving God which initially was not possible due to the existing barriers between you and God; of course caused by your sins. Keeping the seventh commandment becomes so easy since you now walk in love. I love to give this example, imagine you love a guy or a girl; you’ll always do nice things and not things that are unpleasing to the one you love. You do these things without thinking, just because you love this person similarly, it is not possible to declare your love vehemently for God and still go sleeping around or doing those other things outlined in the other commandments. Or can you imagine a prayerful Christian that put God first in all things praying before having sex.You’ll not get your pant below your knee.
From what we have said, the antidotes for adultery are:Give your life to Jesus, by accepting him as you lord and savior.Walk in the spirit; not by might, power but my spirit says the lord.Love God with all your heart.Be prayerful at all times.
(luke22vs 40) Dear friend, let me conclude with this lines; are you are a guy out there that believes that ladies are object of pleasure and sex is your heritage as a man, listen I believe you are worth more than that, God can help you overcome that mentality. Make an effort towards the right direction, redefine responsibility and this time around major on integrity and not how to gratify you emotions. If you think other wise then always remember that what a man sows that he shall reap.” your harvest is coming.”
For the ladies, I strongly believe that the health implications of adultery on your person is so great that you don’t need so many words but incase you don’t care for your health try and consider dignity and self worth. You are not a dog at such I believe you deserve some respect, for your body and for your person as a woman.
Incase you still don’t care I would plead with you to consider the love than God has for you, so much that he has led you to read this article. You can’t afford to neglect so great a salvation which God in his mercies has poured out on us. You have a chance to make it right; it’s not too late for a change.My prayer is that the seventh commandment will become real in your life so that when you imagine the lord Almighty, you’ll see love and not fear. Less I forget there are people out there that do nice things for people without making sexual demands in return but I can assure you that they are hard to come by. Similarly, I want to believe that you are not a dog, how would you feel if you knew early enough that the guy or girl thinks you are as cheap as a dog that will give into a bone in form of gifts. I m sure you’ll never have anything to do with him or her. Well it will suffice you to know that many persons after your pants think like that. You only never have an insight into their minds to know that. Take my advice don’t commit adultery. I know how hard it could be to make some folks see the wisdom in this commandment, because most times you are too emotionally engrossed to think about the consequences of your actions. Not withstanding, I believe that amidst the entire emotional clamor, you’ll always have an opportunity to back out, put on your pants and flee. You are not been a jerk, you’re just been a smart girl/guy that knows that life is worth more than some seconds of pleasure and years of grief and pain: First for you, then for those that love you.
Implication 2: In the first implication, I said keeping the seventh commandment is a matter of choice and the benefit and disadvantages were what you could analyze with you human thinking faculty. Unfortunately, the second implication offers you little benefits as the basis for adhering to the command. As a matter of fact you are expected to keep it whether you like it or not. Considering the fact that the commandment came from an uncommon personality, it will be impossible to bye pass him with a computer minded argument
To make things a lot easier for your understanding, I’ll simply describe the personality in the words of those that have encountered him. Read that he of whom we speak was last seen in a garment down to the feet and a girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire. His feet like fine brass, as if the burn in a furnace and his voice as the sound of many waters. His countenance is as the sun in its full strength.Some other persons saw him on a white horse and I can assure you that of all that saw him none was standing in his presence.You’ll not be an exception.
This personality is God almighty and he respects no one.Even if he were to respect someone, I doubt if you’ll be such a person for him to respect. I’m sure you can now see why his command needs not comply with your civilized mind. He has and will always outlive every civilization so if he says don’t indulge in sin, that’s final. God is omnipotent and omnipresent, he’s alpha and omega, the beginning and the end and if he says it then he must mean it.God said you should not commit adultery then it must be for your own good. Whatever God says, must be good since he sees all things from an omnipotent and omnipresent perspective and if you think your speed driven mind can comprehend his infinite wisdom then you must be way out of your mind and wrong.
Personally, I believe there are reasons for every move God makes; there are reasons for the commandments as well as reasons for you coming across this article. God has a very good plan for you and I, and I believe what we must do is to drop our preconceived notions about his commandments and begin to comply with his ways. There are some of you out there that know the seventh commandment means no harm and would really like to comply but it just happen that you can’t seem to muscle enough courage to do the things God has commanded. Well I’ve got news for you. You aren’t alone. The issue of struggling to walk with God has become a limiting factor to so many people as often there is a spiritual willingness but the flesh is weak.
As a matter of fact the problem you encounter with the seventh commandant is equally eminent with all other commandments. This has led most people into thinking that his standards are too high, but I’ll like to correct this impression by saying that he is God (holy and pure) and his standards are just okay for his personality.we just happen to have very poor and low standards as a result of our sinful nature. Now I’m sure you are beginning to see why it’s almost impossible to live up to his expectations or his commandment perfectly.So what do you do? You go back to God and find out how you can walk with him and I assure you that he already has a laid down plan for you.
Main while, God knowing that you and I would be interested in aligning our ways with his, sent Jesus to die on the cross of Calvary. On that death he tied sufficient grace to enable you live right and enjoy other things along side. Now all you have to do to become a party to the grace and other benefits is to simply believe that the death was for you and accept the lordship of Jesus over your life. The moment you have done this, you’ll better understand what Jesus meant when he sad that the Ten Commandments are up held in just two.You shall love the lord your God with all your heart, with all thy might and with all your strength.(this is the greatest commandment)The second is like it; love your neighbor as yourself.
You’ll now see that one of the immediate benefits of giving your life to Jesus is that the once impossible becomes possible in that you can now unconsciously keep the Ten Commandments as you focus your mind on loving God which initially was not possible due to the existing barriers between you and God; of course caused by your sins. Keeping the seventh commandment becomes so easy since you now walk in love. I love to give this example, imagine you love a guy or a girl; you’ll always do nice things and not things that are unpleasing to the one you love. You do these things without thinking, just because you love this person similarly, it is not possible to declare your love vehemently for God and still go sleeping around or doing those other things outlined in the other commandments. Or can you imagine a prayerful Christian that put God first in all things praying before having sex.You’ll not get your pant below your knee.
From what we have said, the antidotes for adultery are:Give your life to Jesus, by accepting him as you lord and savior.Walk in the spirit; not by might, power but my spirit says the lord.Love God with all your heart.Be prayerful at all times.
(luke22vs 40) Dear friend, let me conclude with this lines; are you are a guy out there that believes that ladies are object of pleasure and sex is your heritage as a man, listen I believe you are worth more than that, God can help you overcome that mentality. Make an effort towards the right direction, redefine responsibility and this time around major on integrity and not how to gratify you emotions. If you think other wise then always remember that what a man sows that he shall reap.” your harvest is coming.”
For the ladies, I strongly believe that the health implications of adultery on your person is so great that you don’t need so many words but incase you don’t care for your health try and consider dignity and self worth. You are not a dog at such I believe you deserve some respect, for your body and for your person as a woman.
Incase you still don’t care I would plead with you to consider the love than God has for you, so much that he has led you to read this article. You can’t afford to neglect so great a salvation which God in his mercies has poured out on us. You have a chance to make it right; it’s not too late for a change.My prayer is that the seventh commandment will become real in your life so that when you imagine the lord Almighty, you’ll see love and not fear.
