ARE YOU MAN ENOUGH?

Happy new year guys, I am excited for 2012,its a new beginning,its a time to try again certain things that almost defy all effort in 2011.

This morning I remembered a story a friend told me few years ago, he dated a lady while in the university, it was a 2 to 3 years relationship, after school they planned to take the relationship to the next level but the lady all of a sudden felt the guy could not meet up hence the relationship ended. In order words he was not man enough to take her to the next level. She felt he had no capacity to manage the responsibilities that would confront the decision to take the relationship to the next level. Now that's the bases for my write up today.

Its a new year, most often we plan and resolve to do the unthinkable, we set new targets,I resolved a long time ago not to resolve at the beginning of the year,however I know many of us resolve and its not a bad thing. The question is, are you man enough to execute what you seek to achieve? Its a question I ask myself with the hope of helping me understand there are responsibilities I need to embrace if my goals would be met.

Being man enough simply means you have capacity to execute. Its so easy to get into the euphoria of God would bless you in 2012 and we all shout amen without really understanding the nitty-gritty of what is required to attain the desired height. God is not a magician, there are laws for achieving sucess, just like we have physical laws, we also have spiritual laws. If your would see growth in your relationship with God in 2012,you must draw near to God. If you must serve as a worker in TWB in 2012,you must attend DTI, its that simple, we cannot keep focusing on praying for divine promotion without an intelligent understanding of the requirements for promotion.

We must take responsibility in 2012 for the desired growth. For those looking for new jobs, try being more friendly;jobs are not always in the pages of newspapers but with company insiders. For many seeking relationships that can produce a life time commitment of marriage,start by having a more realistic mental image of people. See value in people beyond the surface and like we heard in TWB; do away with your past hurt that has made you sceptical of everyone you meet.

Building capacity should be our watchword. From spiritual capacity to mental and social capacity, we need to expand our base to accommodate what we seek to achieve. God is willing; the question is are we willing to do what is required to attract Gods promises?

2012 is predicted to be tough by world leaders, its good to know that there's always an exception to the rule. Like it was in Egypt in the days in Moses, God always provide for the wellbeing of his people in Goshen. Everyone that abides under the shadow of the almighty shall walk by different sets of rules so quit focusing on opinion of global leaders who lack the ability and capacity to predict and forestall an event such as the global financial meltdown. Cast your care in the Lord. The bible records; I am the Lord,have I said a thing and would not do it? The validity of God's promise is tied to his integrity.

Personally I know 2012 has risk but God has assured me that the benefits of 2012 is in the risk. I can only achieve base on my capacity. My capacity is a function of my ability to study and work to develop myself either spiritually,physically or otherwise. The same applies to you;God is ready to lead you,the world is waiting for your manifestation in 2012, the question here is: Are you man enough?

I pray that God would help our understanding in this regard. I pray that we would begin to be proactive and mix what we hear at the water brook church with faith that would propel us to action. We can all record outstanding success across board in 2012 once we take responsibility and make the right decisions on time. God is still in the business call you. God said I will do a new thing and the ears of those that hear would tingle. If God must do a new thing,then we must act a new way; different from the way we've always acted.
